Job Description

This opportunity requires a dynamic, pragmatic and flexible marketing leader with a proven history of success in B2B marketing across the UK and Europe. Reporting into the Global Marketing Director for F&W, you’ll be part of a global team of high-performance marketers working together to build the Xplor brand and go-to-market strategy in the Fitness and Wellbeing vertical.

This key role offers a proactive marketing leader the opportunity to consolidate, build and lead a go-to-market strategy for the Fitness and Wellbeing vertical in the UK and Europe.  Currently Xplor has 6 brands in-market and others from the Xplor’s product portfolio soon entering, each which currently have their own value propositions and customer base.  Building a simple, transparent, scalable, measurable marketing plan with seamless execution and demonstrable ROI is critical to succeed in this role.

The Regional Marketing Leader role requires marketing team management, strategy development, as well as day-to-day planning, oversight, and execution of marketing programs including digital, campaigns, events, website, social media and brand.  In addition, this person will ensure that marketing processes are developed as best practices for Xplor globally, but also are being leveraged to achieve a positive ROI in UK/Europe.

Ultimately accountable for the overall marketing performance and budget spend across UK/Europe, the Regional Marketing Leader will be a key member of the UK/Europe leadership team, as well as the global F&W marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of the end-to-end marketing strategy, program architecture and campaign planning for the F&W vertical in UK/Europe (program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, content development, and collaboration with key stakeholders)
  • Provide leadership and management to the UK/Europe marketing team members to deliver on KPIs, business objectives and build their careers
  • Deliver breakthrough ideas, innovation and leadership to deliver a comprehensive go-to-market plan for net new clients via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. digital campaigns, online/live events, 3rd party channels, social media, organic).
  • Oversee the development, management and maintenance of all F&W campaigns, events and content in the UK and Europe.
  • Define integrated, effective campaigns and programs - internally and externally - to meet business revenue and client acquisition goals across UK/Europe.
  • Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximise impact.
  • Manage and own end-to-end campaign effectiveness and results. Publish frequent campaign scorecards to share performance trends with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional and global marketing stakeholders to gain buy-in to the program strategy, campaign approach, creative direction and impact measurement (goals/performance).
  • Prioritise marketing programs based on ROI and orchestrate, negotiate, and manage project deliverables with the F&W team and other members of the marketing organisation as needed.
  • Act as a thought-leader and single point of truth for F&W Europe within the marketing organisation and across sales management teams and other supporting lines of business.
  • Contribute extensively to the overall Xplor rebrand project to help shape the future of the Xplor company in the European health and fitness market.

Prerequisites

Experience / Skills Required

  • 10-15 years experience in a B2B marketing leadership capacity in an international environment (i.e. Europe)
  • 5+ years experience developing and managing integrated marketing programs focused on customer acquisition in specific target markets
  • 2+years of team management experience in marketing
  • Demonstrable understanding of metrics-driven demand generation and experience of driving quantifiable ROI.
  • Proven track record of building, leading and managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels including web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to lead and work with senior executives across the business.

Experience/Skills Desired

  • Experience with SaaS products and/or solution selling is desirable
  • Previous success working in a matrix organisation and/or cross-functional environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to address audiences of varying seniority and relevance
  • Be a highly professional leader and team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and Salesforce CRM is an advantage
  • Previous experience working abroad or in an international capacity in a global company
