Job Description

We are looking for an individual keen to support Wellbeing Escapes’ commitment to provide exceptional customer service and knowledge-based advice to a very discerning client base. Hungry sales skills, professional service, client follow-up and after-care, in order to build client loyalty to Wellbeing Escapes, are central to the job. The person in this role handles all aspects of customer service. They evaluate the customer’s needs and make recommendations for the client’s holidays based on these discussions. Many of our clients are informed, assertive and busy individuals who have either experienced these types of holidays or have a keen interest to do so. Many clients are women who travel on their own and take these holidays as investment in themselves. Our team is trained by our expert staff, our suppliers as well as experiencing the product personally but must also take the initiative to develop their own product knowledge.

The person in the role will also work closely with the current marketing executive, the managing Director and our digital media consultant. The marketing aspect of the role would include assisting with web content and images, CRM and communications platforms, social media, direct and electronic communications and campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, professional, courteous service
  • Provide knowledge and experience based advice to satisfy customer enquiries
  • Be able to meet individual sales and service targets whilst contributing to overall company goals
  • Manage post-sales administration and follow-up in a organised and timely manner
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Respond to client requests in a timely manner
  • Accurately record key sales and customer information in databases
  • Be able to provide clear, accurate feedback from customers and suppliers in order to improve the customer experience and Wellbeing Escapes service levels
  • Keep informed and educated on business and developments in the spa/wellness sector, as well as the travel sector overall
  • Participate in product training and weekend FAM trips as required
  • Participate in a duty phone weekend cover roster
  • Creating and loading hotel, programme descriptions and other web content and images
  • Assisting in the execution of the company CRM strategy including segmentation of the direct customer database, targeted direct and email campaigns, customer satisfaction follow-up
  • Assisting with keeping contact software current and supporting social media campaign


  • Prior luxury customer service and travel related experience
  • Experience on computerised booking and reservations systems
  • Knowledge and/or personal experience in health and wellbeing, i.e. exercise and fitness, yoga, spa treatments, healthy cuisine and diet, etc.
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team atmosphere
  • Experience working in an environment with specific performance targets
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Above average computer skills
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Strong personal organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated self-initiative
  • Desire to learn and improve

Extra Details

Other information:

  • Hours are 09.00 – 18.00 Monday – Friday
  • One day per week planned as work from home, subject to operational needs
  • 1 Saturday per month for sales coverage, subject to change based on operational need; Saturday hours 10.00 – 15.00; Saturday sales shift can be work from home if preferred
