Job Description

We are looking for a Sales and Operations Manager for our award-winning health and fitness studio based in the heart of Kings Cross.

This is a new role to help oversee the day to day operations of the studio and establish an in-house sales function in order to help our business reach the next phase of its growth. We are looking for people with a proven commercial background, an eye for detail and the ability to inspire a small team.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Sales and Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Establishing an in-house sales function by implementing an outbound sales plan and strategy in order to drive studio memberships and sales across all lines of business.

Implementing a wider F&B offering to ensure the café and social spaces are utilised to their maximum capacity.

Delivering new membership and sales targets, actively supporting client retention and ensuring service levels across all studio functions.

Scheduling, leading, coaching, inspiring and motivating the team of Front of House Associates to ensure the very best in standards of service and care.

Creating a team of Advisors from within our current team of Front of House Associates to support the sales function.

Utilising the local area to establish new relationships and build partnerships and play an active role in the local community.

Building strong partnerships with other businesses that align with our own brand values.

Working with our Digital Lead to ensure our social media channels and monthly member newsletter actively support the sales effort.

Working with our Events Manager to plan exclusive member events.

Creating personalised experiences for all members and prospective members in order to continually strive to break down the barriers to health and happiness.

Sales training, development, and performance management of your team.

Forecasting and analysing sales data with regular reporting of KPI’s to the General Manager and Founder.

Prerequisites

What we are looking for:

A confident, commercial and accomplished operational and sales individual looking for their next challenge

You will be an excellent communicator with a natural ability to influence others and strong negotiation skills.

You’ll have outstanding motivational and leadership abilities with a strong track record in sales.

Highly organised and able to prioritise your own workload, you will be a positive, enthusiastic, self-starter with a proven ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure and maintain a meticulous attention to detail.

Fitness industry experience in a boutique/ high-end environment is beneficial but not a necessity – a passion for people and a lack of ego are an absolute must!
