Job Description

Salary: £26,110
Contract: Fixed-term, maternity cover
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Looking for a digital role in the charity sector? Look no further! We’re looking for a full-time Website & Search Officer to join our Digital Engagement Team on a fixed-term contract.

The Web and Search Officer is a role that spans across the organisation, supporting colleagues in digital communications and compliance, often contributing to both reactive and proactive digital comms activity. You’ll sit in the newly formed Digital Engagement Team – a close team of existing Soil Association colleagues that have recently come together into a digital-focussed team.

This exciting role will focus on ensuring the development and management of the Soil Association website, implementing in-house iteration and optimisation of our website and Google Ads grant. You’ll play a critical role in delivering a high-quality user experience for all our audiences, have a knowledge of Accessibility and Usability standards, and ensure excellent performance of our website and Search channels.

You will report to the Senior Digital Comms Manager (Charity). You will also be co-supervised by Digital Content Marketing Manager for Certification 1.5 days a week.

Prerequisites

You’ll utilise your broad mix of digital comms knowledge and experience, including: best practise in digital communications and content development, user experience, search, analytics and reporting.
