Products are sold through a variety of channels including specialty retail, the internet, and gyms in a variety of formats including powders, bars, and Ready-to-Drink beverages. GPN has a global and expanding footprint with a current in-market presence in 24 countries.

Job Description

Outside of the US, the UK is Glanbia’s biggest single market for GPN with a clear and exciting strategy with a range of solutions to improve nutritional intake relevant to individual lifestyle and performance ambitions.

We are on the lookout for two NAM’s to execute the UK strategy across major GPN customers in the Grocery & High Street channels whilst supporting in shaping the future strategy in order to fuel growth.  This is a compelling opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow their career in an exciting category, with significant scope for future progression. With the support of the Channel Controller this role is tasked with leading collaboration across multiple functions (sales, marketing, category & shopper, finance & supply chain) to ensure brand & channel objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility for defined account portfolio
  • Lead commercial relationships across customer base
  • Support in management of other key Channel retailers
  • Execute short and long term strategies and activities consistent with GPN UK objectives
  • Leadership of annual customer account planning and effective reporting
  • Deep understanding of key customers, their strategy and key objectives
  • Good understanding of our industry and competitors
  • Ability to work closely with customer marketing to develop clear & implementable strategies for sales growth, through category leading visibility, promotion & execution
  • Support with category team to instil GPN as category captains within account base
  • Represent GPN at customer events, forums and other engagement opportunities
  • Effective collaboration with demand planning, finance & customer service in line with internal processes
  • Own the customer JBP planning and execution

Prerequisites

  • Demonstrated commercial achievements within the FMCG/CPG space including Grocery and/or High Street channels
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Self- starter, highly motivated and ambitious
  • Highly numerate & ability to interpret and manage P&L to high standard
  • Ability to plan effectively, but also think on your feet
  • High energy & creativity
  • Results orientated
  • Innovative and solution focused
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data)
  • Degree level or equivalent qualification
