Starting from a recipe website, the business has evolved into a restaurant, a range of plant-based food products, an app, a collection of bestselling recipe books, a podcast, and a growing social media community that sits at the heart of what we do.

Our first product was our energy balls, which are now in around 6,000 stores across the UK, from Waitrose to Starbucks, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett, Whole Foods and lots more. We have since launched a line of breakfast cereals, oat bars, nut butter bites, caramel cups, chocolate bars, baked veggie chips, dipped almonds and a range of frozen desserts.

About the role

The App Growth Manager is a key member of the app team who will be the ultimate brand ambassador to help us deliver on our ambition to be the #1 app for plant-based recipes and holistic wellness globally. They are responsible for helping grow the feel better app community across our key markets, in both B2C and B2B communities. We have an amazing foundation to build on – being rating 4.9/5 on the App Store (with 17,000+ reviews) and having been the awarded the prestigious App of the Day and Editor’s Choice by Apple.

Working alongside the Head of App, the App Growth Manager will be responsible for employing a variety of tools & techniques to meet our ambitious community growth targets across a range of channels, including digital media (paid and organic), CRM, brand partnerships, corporate sales and events.

About you

  • You have +3 years’ experience working in digital / paid media to grow communities and product relevance with key prospective audiences
  • Experience in partnering with creative teams to create effective campaigns that deliver ROI
  • Experience in lead generation / sales, being proactive in getting the app / brand noticed by the right stakeholders
  • Brand partnership and/or event experience a bonus
  • Extremely organised with a high attention to detail
  • You thrives being part of a fast moving team, who is a proactive self-starter driven to deliver results
  • Strong interpersonal skills: communication with stakeholders at various levels is key to success in this role.
  • Has a passion for health, wellness and plant-based food, who is inspired by the opportunity to help hundreds of thousands of people globally feel better every day

Key Responsibilities

What you will be doing

The overall objective for this role is to drive growth of the feel better app subscriber base through the most effective means possible.

This includes:

  • Digital channels, including paid and App Store search (managing of our paid agency partner to effectively do this), CRM (email + push) and organic channels to drive growth. This will also require working with the marketing and content team to create effective comms for these channels
  • Driving growth through brand partnerships, events, owned channels (product, restaurant, podcast, email, social etc.) and any other means you identify as being effective to help us grow the relevance and reach of the app within prospective audiences
  • Driving our ‘feel better work better’ product for corporate clients, growing our relevance in this sector, lead generation, identifying key industry events to attend to grow profile
  • Customer referral scheme creation and management
  • Reporting and analytics of all growth initiatives and campaigns, to identify areas of future opportunity and to maximise effectiveness
  • Management of the growth budget
