Job Description

Our Daylesford family is growing, and we are looking for an engaging and passionate eCommerce Manager to join the team, based at the beautiful Daylesford Farm in Kingham or at our London head office.

As eCommerce Manager you will be integral in helping grow the ecommerce side of our omni-channel business.

You will be responsible for the trading performance of the online shop, site content, the customer journey and reporting. You will work closely with Marketing to look after the onsite taxonomy, categorisation and navigation of the website, formulating a testing plan to continually optimise and drive AOV and CVR.

You will work closely with the buying teams to plan and maintain product uploads and key launches; ensuring there is a full product catalogue available online whilst managing unavailable and temporarily unavailable product listings. Commercially visually merchandise the range online, reacting to trade, seasonality and new product launches, whilst protecting the brand’s visual identity and values.

You will work closely with the supply chain to ensure optimal availability of product to maximise sales opportunities.

You will report on sales performance weekly, using analytics to ensure continued improved performance, working closely with Marketing on planning and curating weekly content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales KPIs, reporting on sales weekly
  • Improve the customer journey, increasing CVR and AOV, whilst decreasing BR.
  • Plan and maintain product uploads, reacting to trade, seasonality and NPD
  • Online visual merchandising
  • Working with supply chain to ensure product availability
  • Manage website content to drive organic traffic through SEO
  • Work closely with marketing on commercial activity to drive sales

Prerequisites

An experienced eCommerce Manager with a track record of growing online sales.

You will combine an understanding of online data-driven trading with experience in digital marketing and an interest in the (ideally organic) food and wellness sector.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for innovation, with an up-to-date understanding of retail and ecommerce technology including a deep understanding of Google Analytics.

Have a strong commercial track record in ecommerce or online merchandising and be able to demonstrate progression in their career to date.

Analytical and data-driven approach to strategy.

  • 3 + years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing or online retail marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data analytics to measure performance, determine improvements and drive insights.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms and functionality
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Previous experience working for a food retailer would be highly desirable.
  • Commercially astute and aware of rising food and lifestyle trends
