This role will provide the delivery and development of Physiological support to executive clients and athletes, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a world class health and high performance training environment.
MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
Work with the Sports Science and Medicine team to improve performance through developing, implementing and evaluating physiological services.
Delivering physiological support to identified clients.
Manage and lead elements of the delivery and development of physiological services and facilities for coaches and athletes
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering services to clients/athletes and coaches.
Identify performance questions and develop solutions aimed at improving performance
Where appropriate identify and facilitate appropriate communication methods, including workshops, to inform and educate clients and colleagues in the effective use of physiological support
Manage project work or applied research across the organisation as appropriate.
Where appropriate, attend, contribute to and provide regular reports at appropriate meetings.
Provide exceptional customer service and meet all regulatory requirements in line with CQC guidance.
MSc Applied sport and exercise physiology and a minimum of 1 year experience in a specialist clinic or hospital.
