We are looking for passionate, committed and hardworking Club Manager for our busy, vibrant club.
As Club Manager, you are the centre point of the club and responsible for a smooth, 5 star operation on a daily basis. A high standard in the way you deliver and interact with clients and colleagues alike, and upholding Bodyism’s ethos to act with kindness, passion and care. Used to dealing with sometimes demanding and high profile customers politely and efficiently. This varied role also includes tasks in HR, Finance, General Operations, Health and Safety, Maintenance and Client Relationships. You must have the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a busy café/reception environment.
Club Operations – Oversea the smooth running of the Club on a daily basis ensuring the overall standards and cleanliness of the club are maintained. Identifying and translating the company’s strategic plans into defined operational plans. Coordinating maintenance of building and equipment. Overseeing club health and safety - ensuring relevant training, checks and paperwork is adhered to. Overseeing club licenses and ensuring all are kept up to date. Supporting contract site manager with the opening of new sites and ongoing operations where needed.
Club finance and reporting - Overseeing purchases and sales for the club. Managing accounting and invoicing processes. Reviewing debtors lists and chasing missing payments. Sharing an updated debtors report with the finance and wider management team. Meeting financial targets and other agreed targets where possible. Researching opportunities for cost savings across the whole business and minimising operational expenditure within the business wherever possible. Evaluating overall club performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data. Sharing regular reports with board of directors and senior management team.
Staff management & development - Overseeing recruitment, training, invoicing, payroll and general HR tasks. Responsible for providing guidance, direction and motivation to support staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance and productivity. Supervising staff from different departments and providing constructive feedback. Meeting with the club management staff including Cafe Manager, Head Trainers, Membership team and Front of House Supervisor regularly to review their workload and goals. Meeting quarterly with staff and trainers for reviews. Managing day to day service delivery from self-employed Personal Trainers and Group class instructors ensuring that the Bodyism ethos and standards are being applied. Holding monthly “Trainer meet ups” and regular Front of House meetings providing updates and motivating the team.
Support CEO - Working closely alongside the CEO, directing operational activities across the club and reviewing financial statements. Supporting CEO in general day to day activities where required.
Client relations - Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues. Reviewing customer service activities and implementing minimum standards across the company. Developing meaningful relationships with Bodyism members. Meeting face to face with clients to ensure their needs are met and reviewing their experience. Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts in a friendly manner. Building relationships with complimentary PR members and ensuring they experience the best of Bodyism.
Club level brand management - Finding ways to activate the brand in tangible ways beyond the look and feel of the club. Maintaining the company handbook and implementing company guidelines, ensuring updates are regularly communicated with wider team. Organising and overseeing group class trainings. Working with PR and marketing team to develop new brand initiatives and marketing campaigns for the club. Assisting with and overseeing the organisation of internal and external events.

Ability to adapt to different roles in the business such as covering front of house, or classes and sessions should you be qualified trainer, traveling to offsite locations.
Customer Service or reception experience encouraged.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Computer skills with particular focus on scheduling systems such as Mind Body Online and Excel knowledge.
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and occasional bank holidays.
Availability to work flexible hours, including needed weekend days and/or early morning hours to oversee opening of club and regular or VIP clients.

2+ years’ experience in a managerial role.
Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational experience with a proven track record of working with high end clientele.
Proficient in scheduling system Mind Body Online, Excel and Google Documents.
